GUWAHATI: After four security personnel of Debabrata Saikia, leader of opposition at Assam Legislative Assembly tested COVID-19 positive, the residence of the Congress legislator at Nazira in Sivasagar district has been declared as containment zone.
“When I came from Guwahati on July 27, my guards were tested at Dispur Government Hospital. Among them, one guard who came from a barrack at Garchuk tested positive for COVID-19. So remaining personnel were again asked to test themselves on August 4. Three of them have tested positive for Coronavirus,” said Saikia.
