GUWAHATI, Dec 15: Gauhati University will hold its rescheduled examinations from Dec 23, GU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Pratap Jyoti Handique told News Live. While the post-graduate examinations will be held from Dec 23, the under-graduate and graduate-level examinations will begin on Dec 27.
The examinations were postponed following the protests by various organizations opposing the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and violence at various places.
The rescheduled examination dates were announced by Gauhati University authorities today as the situation in most parts of Assam started limping back to normal.
“All Examinations of M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, LLM, M.Tech., B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Voc., B.E., B.Tech., LLB. , B.A.LL.B., Int., M.Com, etc scheduled earlier will be re-scheduled from 23rd December, 2019,” GU Controller of Examinations DJ Choudhury stated through a release.
The rescheduled examination schedule will be notified seperatrely, the release added.
