Rajen Gohain visits quack to cure hypertension, headache

PUBLISHED:

Union MoS (Railways) Rajen Gohain is making it to news headlines once again, this time after he visited a quack, locally known as a ‘bez’, to cure him from hypertension and headache he has been suffering from.

The union minister went to the house of Fazal Ali, a quack who treats people at his house in Rangia, today (Sep 12). Gohain, who seems to have lost faith in modern-day medical treatment, looked surprised at the presence of media persons outside the residence of the quack, went straight to his car and did not even interact with the waiting reporters.

However, the quack confirmed Gohain came for treatment and to get cured from the high blood pressure and a nagging headache he has been suffering from.

“He came for treatment. He is suffering from some ailment related to his head and also hypertension. He has been cured now,” Fazal Ali later told News Live.

The union minister made headlines a month ago after he was accused of raping a married woman with the victim filing a police complaint at Nagaon police station. He was also accused of threatening the victim’s husband after an audio clip, purportedly a telephonic conversation between him and the latter, went viral in social media.
