Dokmoka Police arrested three more accused persons in connection with the lynching of Nilotpal Das and Abhijeet Nath taking the total number of people arrested so far in connection with the spine-chilling lynching incident to 19.
Police arrested Rupsing Kro (31), Khaosing Bey (25) and Bor Kro (18) after 16 people, 15 of them directly involved in the lynching incident, were arrested within 24 hours of the grisly incident.

Police, meanwhile, have also launched a crackdown on social media users and have arrested and apprehended a number of people for rumour mongering and posting hate messages on social media from across the State.
