Twenty-four hours after the BJP struck an alliance deal with the AGP, the three-party ruling coalition has expressed optimism about a very good show in the upcoming elections. BPF leader and Assam Social Welfare Minister Pramila Rani Brahma, who has also been named as the BPF candidate for the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat, said the BJP-AGP-BPF alliance will win 12 out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the State.
“The ruling coalition will win 12 seats. The BPF will win Kokrajhar seat this time since non-Bodo people have realized the mistake they did by backing Naba Sarania five years ago,” Pramila Rani Brahma told News Live.
Incidentally, the NDA is tageting to win 22 out of the 25 seats in the Northeast in the upcoming hustings.
