GUWAHATI: Ranoj Pegu who represents the Dhemaji constituency is the new Education, Welfare of Plain Tribe & Backward Classes (non-BTC) Minister in Himanta Biswa Sarma led-Cabinet.
Ranoj Pegu is the former chief executive member of the Missing Autonomous Council.
Aged about 59 years, Pegu has an MBBS degree from Gauhati Medical College. He is a resident of Chauldhua Baligaon in Dhemaji district of Assam. (source: Wikipedia)
