GUWAHATI, Nov 13: Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun, who is an all-rounder with Goa, scalped his maiden five-wicket haul in Ranji Trophy to skittle out Arunachal Pradesh for just 84 in their first innings.
Arjun registered career-best figures of 5/25 in nine overs at the Goa Cricket Association Academy Ground, Porvorim, on Day 1 of their Plate Group match.
Arjun has been the third-highest wicket-taker for Goa this season having picked up 16 wickets so far from four outings while also contributing decently with the bat.
Arjun’s performance comes ahead of the mega IPL auction where he will go under the hammer after Mumbai Indians decided not to retain him.
