GUWAHATI: Ranjeet Kumar Dass has been reappointed as the Assam State BJP president today.
Dass was the only member to file nomination for the president post for the BJP state party in Assam. The election for the post held today at Srimanta Madhabdev Auditorium of Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
It is to be mentioned that Dass was elected as Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly when CM Sarbananda Sonowal took charge in 2016.
