GUWAHATI: Assam BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass who represents the Patacharkuchi constituency will be the new Panchayat & Rural Development, Public Health Engineering, Food & Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Minister in Himanta Biswa Sarma led-Cabinet.
Dass took oath as Cabinet Minister on Monday.
Ranjeet Kumar Dass, 54 is the son of Late Arabinda Das of Barpeta. Ranjeet Kr Dass is a resident of Sorbhog under Barpeta district. He is married to Anju Rani Baishya Das. He is an MSc pass from Gauhati University, 1990 batch. (source: Wikipedia)
