Guwahati: Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next film, Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, will be releasing on Dussehra 2022. The director took to social media to announce the news. The makers had announced the film on New Year’s day with a special video. Animal will also star Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Parineeti Chopra took to social media to announce the release date of Animal. The director, who is also the writer of the film wrote on Tiwtter, “ANIMAL to have a DUSSHERA 2022 release (sic).”

The makers of Animal announced the film on social media on January 1, 2021. The official Twitter handle of T-Series shared a video with Ranbir Kapoor’s vocals. A constant whistle sound can be heard in the video. Ranbir can be heard saying, “Papa, agle janam mein aap mera beta banna. Fir dekhna main aapko kaise pyaar karta hun aur sikhna aap. Kyunki uske agle janam mein vapis main beta aur aap papa. Tab na papa, apni tarah se pyaar karna, meri tarah se nahi. Aap samajh rahe ho na papa? Bas aap samajh lo toh kafi hai.” Several gun shots are heard later in the video.
Sharing the video, T-Series wrote, “Saal ki shuruwat, seeti marke honi chahiye! Presenting #Animal, starring #RanbirKapoor. Let the fun begin! (sic).”

Apart from the just announced Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which is currently under post-production. This is Alia and Ranbir’s first film together. Brahmastra is a three-part fantasy trilogy film which was initially supposed to release on Christmas this year but had to be postponed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
