Ramadan 2021: Roza to Begin From Wednesday

GUWAHATI: The first fast(Roza) of  Ramadan(Ramzan) will be observed on Wednesday(April 14), while Taraweeh will begin on Tuesday(April 13) after Isha prayers in Assam. The ninth month in the Islamic Lunar Calendar is Ramadan, which marks a month of fasting by Muslims from Fajr(dawn) to Maghrib(dusk).  The fast is called a ‘roza’. 

“After a discussion, we came to a decision that Taraweeh Namaz will start from Tuesday and from Wednesday we will observe fasting,” said a member of the All India Hilal Committee.
