GUWAHATI: Taking a potshot at Congress and Maulana Badruddin Ajmal-led All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), Assam health and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Rajiv Bhawan would be christened as Ajmal Bhawan.
“After the alliance of Congress with AIUDF, not a single indigenous individual will be left in Congress. The Rajiv Bhawan will be named as Ajmal Bhawan soon,” Dr. Sarma said.
Hitting out at Tarun Gogoi, minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said Gogoi should forget that once he was the chief minister of Assam.
“Tarun Gogoi should not call himself as the former chief minister. Because, he became the chief minister for his anti-Ajmal stand. But now Gogoi has become pro-Ajmal,” Dr. Sarma said.
