GUWAHATI, Dec 17: The worldwide box office collection of Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2 The Rule‘ has crossed Rs 1,300 crore in just 11 days.
The Sukumar directorial, which released in theatres on December 5, continued to dominate the global box office in spite of the controversy surrounding Allu Arjun who was arrested and subsequently released on interim bail in connection with the death of a fan during the film’s premier show at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad.
The Rs 1,300 crore the film has minted as part of global box office collections in just 11 days has ironically crossed the lifetime haul of KGF Chapter 2 in just 11 days, The Hindustan Times reported, adding that the movie is now looking to break the all-time collection record of Rs 1309 crore set by by SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
Apart from Allu Arjun, the movie also stars also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in major roles.
