GUWAHATI, Jan 5: Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun appeared at Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad as per his bail conditions which require him to appear at the police station every Sunday between 10 am and 1 pm.
The Telegu star is an accused in the case of tragic death of a woman during a stampede at the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatres, Hyderabad.
Arjun, the accused No 11 in the case, was arrested by Police on Dec 13 after a case was registered against him at the Chikkadpally police station under sections 105 and 118(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
He was released on interim bail by the Telengana High Court and then granted regular bail on January 3.
The Pushpa 2 actor, meanwhile, also cancelled his proposed visit to the hospital where the son of the stampede victim is undergoing treatment.
Hyderabad Police had asked him to “reconsider” his decision to visit the nine-year-old injured son of the stampede victim in view of heightened public interest and to ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations and other patients.
