PUBG Mobile India to have fully-clothed characters, play time limits, green blood

PUBLISHED:

Guwahati: The moment that both fans and players of PUBG Mobile have eagerly been waiting for almost two months has now arrived. PUBG Corporation recently announced that they are preparing the release of an exclusive version of the game for the Indian players with teaser videos.

With the announcement of the return of PUBG Mobile India, through a teaser on 14th November 2020, the excitement from all quarters has grown tenfold. However, the release date of the game has not been announced as of yet.

According to a report by leading tech publication Tech Crunch, the marketing campaign for PUBG Mobile India might start from today i.e 20th November 2020.

But the game will be back with a few changes. As we all know that the players on the screen were seen in underwear and they need to find clothes in order to cover themselves. That was a big issue for Indians as the culture of India doesn’t support such indecency.

Parents are going to be okay with their kids playing PUBG Mobile because of these new changes:

  1. Default clothed character

Modesty is another feather in the cap for the Indian audience. PUBG Mobile India will see its characters come fully clothed from the get-go, instead of players starting off with their characters being in their underwear before unlocking or purchasing cosmetics to dress up their avatars.

  1.  Playtime Limit

There would be a playtime limit function which would ensure healthy gaming habits for the younger audience. This means that after a certain number of hours playing the game won’t allow the user to enter the match.

Earlier, there was a restriction on the playtime, but it is expected to be stricter in the Indian version.

  1. Green Blood effect

It is confirmed to have a green bloodstain effect and this feature is already available in the KR version. The violent shooting is thought to have made younger players insensitive to shooting and seeing blood, this change has been done to show the virtual nature of the game. In the global version of PUBG Mobile, users had an option to change the colour of the hit effect. However, it is likely to be locked to green in PUBG Mobile India.
