Guwahati: Indian National Congress (INC) General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is likely to visit Assam on February 24.
Priyanka Gandhi will be addressing an election- rally at Tezpur.
According to sources former president of Indian National Congress and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi will also visit the state again for election campaign.
The Congress has planned to hold at least three public rallies in the Barak Valley, Upper Assam and Lower Assam this month for Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. The dates will be announced soon.
Earlier, Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi also visited the poll-bound state on February 14 in Sivasagar. Rahul Gandhi kicked off the party’s campaign ‘Assam Bachao’ in Sivasagar.
Under the campaign ‘Assam Bachao’, Congress party leaders and workers will interact with the people of Assam.
