Pride East CMD Riniki Bhuyan Sharma said the project will be launched in Majuli in the second phase

Pride East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. CMD Riniki Bhuyan Sharma today officially launched a unique initiative to ensure children from economically weaker sections of the society get additional education outside their school classes by formally launching Balyosora, a CSR initiative of Pride East group, which she said will translate dreams of students who want to excel in studies but face hardships due to economic issues.

As a pilot project, the first ‘Balyosora’ class was launched at Sonapur in Mazbat constituency of Udalguri district today by CMD Riniki Bhuyan Sharma.

Under the initiative, students from marginalised families belonging to the Tea Tribe will be included under the project in the initial phase.

Classes will be held from 4pm to 5:30 pm and will be conducted by students studying in local higher secondary schools and colleges who will initially be trained up for the job.

The second phase of the initiative will be launched in Majuli and will benefit students from the Mising community, Riniki Bhuyan Sharma said.

The initiative is largely an attempt to mobilise community participation in ensuring underprivileged students get the chance to ace in their studies.

Apart from Pride East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. CMD Riniki Bhuyan Sharma, Syed Zarir Hussain, Chief Managing Editor of News Live and Pride East (Media) Vice-President; Kuntal Moni Sharma Bordoloi, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister of Assam, and former Lok Sabha MP Pallab Lochan Das were also present on the official launch programme of ‘Balyosora’.
