GUWAHATI, Nov 22: In another sensational incident, a woman, reportedly expecting a baby, was allegedly kidnapped by two motorcycle-borne youths from Paltan Bazaar after she and her husband — on their way from Alipurduar to Dimapur — alighted in Guwahati to have food after arriving by train.
The woman and her husband had arrived at Guwahati Railway Station last night. As they had a connecting train to Dimapur, the husband-wife duo got down from the first train and went to have their dinner in one of the hotels near Paltan Bazaar Police Station.
The husband told the woman to stay near the autorickshaw stand while he went to fetch their luggage when she was reportedly abducted by the two youths.
The woman’s husband had lodged a complaint at Paltan Bazaar Police Station.
