GUWAHATI: BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary came out all guns blazing against former ABSU president and UPP(L) president Pramod Boro as politics in the BTR is heating up ahead of the council polls.
Briefing newspersons, Mohilary alleged that Pramod Boro has betrayed the Bodos by giving up the Bodoland movement and subsequently entering politics.
“Pramod Boro is useless. They have been standing against me and always said he won’t join politics but now he is president of a political party. He has betrayed the entire Bodo community,” said BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary.
He added, “Bodo Community has not given the contract to Pramod Boro to lead the Bodo community. People will not listen to what he says.”
When asked if NDFB(S) chief Saraigro would contest the BTR elections, Hagrama said that everything will be clear soon. The matter is still being discussed in the party platform.
