The recovery of a powerful improvised explosive device (IED) at Khandikar village near Rangia town has now turned into a bitter spat between villagers and security forces with the latter questioning the men in olive about the recovery of the explosive.
A joint team of the Army and police recovered had recovered an IED, said to be weighing seven kilograms, from the house of Tariful Ali and Noor Mohammad after launching a search operation after midnight.
However, villagers of Khandikar accused security forces of framing the duo who, they claimed, were honest, hardworking and could never be involved in such activities.
