GUWAHATI: Assam NSUI Vice President Zubair Anam has been arrested by Dispur Police today from Rajiv Bhawan, state Congress headquarters.
Police arrested Anam on the basis of a case registered in Dispur Police Station. Anam was allegedly involved in the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra vandalism incident during the anti-CAA protest in December last year.
Anam was arrested after he finished addressing the media in Rajiv Bhawan, Guwahati.
