French football star Paul Pogba is mulling a switch to La Liga and join Spanish giant Barcelona. The British media has been linking Pogba to the Nou Camp with the Daily Mail reporting that the 25-year-old Les Bleus star has agreed terms with Barcelona for a deal worth £89.5 million ($115 million or 100 million euros) over five years.
The Daily Mail, however, reported that United have rejected a £44.5 million bid along with the services of Colombian central defender Yerry Mina and Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes.
Pogba and United Manager Jose Mourinho haven’t had the best of relations with the French star, who scored a goal in the 4-2 demolition of Croatia in the World Cup final in Moscow, holding the Portuguese responsible for his muted performances at Old Trafford after his move from the Italian club.
Pogba had joined United from Juventus for a then world record fee of £89 million in 2016.
