New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a meeting with Chief Ministers, through video conferencing, to review the COVID-19 situation in the country.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah were also present at the meeting.
Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray held a telephonic conversation on the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the state.
There has been an increase of 131 COVID-19 cases in the last 12 hours.
The total number of COVID-19 positive cases on Thursday rose to 1965 in India, including 1764 active cases, 151 cured, discharged or migrated patients and 50 deaths, said Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. (ANI)
