Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal turned 59 on Saturday.

Union minister Prakash Javedkar was one of the first politicians to wish the Assam CM on Twitter. He wished for Sonowal’s good health and prosperity.
Union minister Dr. Jitendra Singh extended his best wishes to the chief minister, following which, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari wished for his good health and long-life.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju shared a picture of him and Sonowal together at an event and hailed him for being the most honest, clean, spiritual, hardworking and dynamic Chief Minister of Assam and added that the people of the state are ‘fortunate’ to have a visionary leader.
