Guwahati: The new COVID19 Standard Operating Procedure for Assam has definitely helped a lot of commuters as now pillion rinding has been allowed in all districts of the state.
Pillion riding on a motorcycle will now be allowed with at least 1 Person Vaccinated Against COVID-19.
However, wearing masks is compulsory for both the rider and the pillion.
Earlier, pillion riding was not permitted for two-wheelers. However, exemptions were given in the case of women and children.
