GUWAHATI: Assam’s minister of state for health and family welfare Pijsuh Hazarika inaugurated a new COVID-19 care centre at Mangaldoi under Darrang district on Thursday. The centre consists of 180 beds.
Minister Hazarika also visited Mangaldoi Civil Hospital to review facilities to deal with COVID-19 situation.
He was accompanied by Sipajhar MLA Binanda Kumar Saikia, Mangaldoi MLA Gurujyoti Das and deputy commissioner (DC) of Darrang.
