GUWAHATI, Aug 1: India won the third medal, another bronze, in the Paris Olympics after shooter Swapnil Kusale came third in the 50m rifle 3 positions event.
Kusale grabbed the bronze medal with a total score of 451.4.
The gold went to China’s Yukun Liu with a score of 463.6 points while Ukraine’s Serhiy Kulish won the silver.
All three medals for India at this edition of the Summer Games have so far come in shooting. Manu Bhaker won the first bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event and then clinched a bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event teaming up with Sarabjot Singh.
