Paresh Rawal Confirms his Return to Hera Pheri 3 after Clearing Legal Tensions with Akshay Kumar

PUBLISHED:

After weeks of drama, confusion, and headlines, veteran actor Paresh Rawal has officially confirmed that he is returning for Hera Pheri 3. The much-loved actor, famous for his iconic role as Babu Bhaiya, made the announcement after clearing his legal issues with Akshay Kumar’s production company. He returned Rs 11 lakh along with interest and has now rejoined the original cast, bringing big smiles to fans waiting for the film.

Paresh Rawal had earlier stepped away from the film, sparking a major controversy. Within just two days of his exit, Akshay Kumar’s production house slapped a legal notice on him for allegedly sabotaging the film shoot and claimed Rs 25 crore in damages. This led to a series of speculations about creative clashes and personal rifts.

But in a recent podcast interview with Himanshu Mehta, Rawal calmly explained that there was never any controversy at heart. “When people love something so much, we have to be extra careful. It’s our duty to deliver something great,” he said. He added that the entire team needed time to “fine-tune” themselves before coming back together.

He confirmed that Hera Pheri 3 is now moving forward with the original trio: Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and himself. He also dismissed the earlier rumours that his exit was due to creative differences with director Priyadarshan. Rawal took to social media to clear things up, saying he has deep respect and admiration for the filmmaker.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar too handled the matter with grace when asked about the legal tussle at a press event. He stood by Paresh Rawal, calling him a great friend and an incredible actor, someone he has worked with for over three decades. He also added that it was a serious issue and should be resolved legally, not emotionally.

With things finally settling down, fans can now breathe a sigh of relief. The legendary comic trio of Hera Pheri is officially back together, and the third part is on track. It seems like all the behind-the-scenes issues have been dealt with, and the audience can now look forward to another hilarious ride with Raju, Shyam, and Babu Bhaiya.

The film has always been a cult favourite in India, with dialogues that people still quote after all these years. With the same star cast and a renewed spirit among the actors, Hera Pheri 3 promises to be another memorable chapter in Bollywood’s comedy legacy.
