GUWAHATI: A probationary sub-inspector (SI) at Panbazaar Police Station in Guwahati has tested positive for COVID-19. The police officer was deployed at various containment zones in the city.
Earlier, a constable from 8th APBN of Assam Police was found positive for COVID-19. On the other hand, an accused in theft who is lodged at Hatigaon Police Station has also tested COVID-19 positive. The accused has been identified as Gagan Rajbongshi.
