A Pakistani national lodged in Jaipur Central Jail died after allegedly involved in a quarrel with other prisoners, officials said.
The Pakistani prisoner has been identified as Shakar Ullah and was serving a life sentence.
“A Pakistani prisoner has allegedly been murdered in the central jail,” PTI quoted IG (Jail) Rupinder Singh as saying.
Senior police and prison officials have rushed to Jaipur jail after the incident.
