Pahalgam terror attack: The houses of two terrorists who were involved in the Pahalgam terror attack were demolished by authorities.

The houses of Adil Thokar, also known as Adil Guree, and Asif Shaikh — both Kashmiri youths — were blown up in Anantnag and Awantipora respectively after their involvement in the dastardly terror attack came to light.

Anantnag Police has announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh for information leading to the arrest of three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists — Adil Hussain Thokar, Ali Bhai, and Hashim Musa.

Reports said Adil allegedly traveled to Pakistan in 2018, where he reportedly received terror training before returning to Jammu and Kashmir last year.

At least five heavily armed terrorists emerged from the surrounding forests and opened fire on a group of approximately 40 tourists in Baisaran, a meadow often referred to as “mini Switzerland” for its scenic beauty, targeting Hindu tourists. The attackers targeted men, asking what religion they professed while also asking some victims to recite Islamic verses before being shot point-blank.

Who were the attackers?

Although a group identifying itself as “The Kashmir Resistance” claimed responsibility for the attack, although the Lashkar-e-Taiba is believed to be behind the attack with the Pakistani establishment believed to have masterminded the attacks.

Jammu and Kashmir police had on Wednesday released sketches of three terrorists who were involved in the Pahalgam attacks that killed 26 people, 25 of them Hindu tourists.

The three terrorists whose sketches were made based on eyewitness accounts and initial probe and intelligence gathering have been identified as Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha.
