GUWAHATI, Nov 26: The Gauhati High Court today granted bail to Bishal Phukan, Tapan alias Tarkik Bora and Swapnil Das who were arrested in connection with online trading fraud cases.
Tapan alias Tarkik Bora is the husband of influencer-choreographer-actor Sumi Bora.
Sumi’s bail application has, however, been turned down along with that of three other accused, reports said.
The High Court, the reports added, granted bail to the accused after the CBI, which had taken over probe into 41 cases of online fraud, failed to submit chargesheets against them.
