GUWAHATI: The Assam Government is mulling over to allow one time movement within the state after April 20 if the COVID19 situation improves in Assam.
“We are thinking to allow one time movement within Assam after April 20 if situation becomes normal. But that movement will be one time till the lockdown ends. It may happen on April 21 and 22. That completely depends on the situation,” said Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at Diphu today.
Dr. Sarma visited Diphu Medical College and Hospital to check and review the preparedness for COVID19 treatment. He had an interaction with the doctors, nurses and health officials. Sarma was accompanied by minister of state for health and family welfare Pijush Hazarika and Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council chief executive member Tuliram Ronghang.
