GUWAHATI: Kamrup (Metro) district administration has declared Dinesh Ojha path, Tarun Nagar in the Bhangagarh area of Guwahati as a containment zone following the detection of a COVID-19 patient at the area.
Circle officer, Guwahati Revenue Circle have been directed to seal the area as a preventive measure against the spread of COVID-19.
According to the notification, any movement of any unauthorised individual and vehicle within the area is prohibited with immediate effect.
The boundary of the Containment Zone as follows:
North: Ashirbad Apartment,
South: Assam Flour Mill Campus, G.S. Road,
East: H.P. Apartment,
West: Residence of Sri Chittaranjan Sarmah and Aphrodite Beauty Parlour.
