Guwahati: Odisha health minister and senior BJD leader Naba Das was shot on his chest in Brajarajnagar of Jharsuguda district on Sunday.
He was shot at by an unidentified person near Gandhi Chak when stepping out of his vehicle. He was on his way to attend an event, media reports said.
He has been admitted to the district headquarters hospital.
He is said to be critical.
