While one flag was hoisted inside Borbari High School, the second one was flown atop a nearby hillock.
The flags were spotted by people in the three places earlier in the morning following which police were informed about the developments in the three places.
The flags were later brought down.
It’s not known as to who had hoisted the ULFA (I) flags amid apprehensions that the flags might have been flown by sympathizers or overground linkmen of the outfit.
