GUWAHATI: “Not a single Hindu Bangladeshi will come to Assam. If they come, BJP workers will throw them out,” said Assam state BJP president Ranjet Kumar Dass today.
Attending BJP’s ‘Sankalp Samaroh’ at Dibrugarh, Dass alleged that some forces are trying to spread false information regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act.
“How many Hindu Bangladeshis have come to your villages, to your gardens from December 12 to February 23 today? Not a single Hindu Bangladeshi will come,” Dass added.
“Assam’s organisations are not protesting against Sharjeel Imam. I request chief minister of Assam to take appropriate action against the conspiracy of Sharjeel Imam to cut off Assam from the rest of India,” the state BJP president further stated.
