In another inhuman and shocking incident, a person pushed his mother into the Kolong river in Nagaon. Pramod Agarwalla, a resident of Marwaripatty in the town, pushed his ailing mother Ratna Devi Agarwalla into the Kolong from a bridge near Nagaon Women’s College.

Pramod Agarwalla, who has confessed to taking his mother in a tempo before pushing her into the Kolong Wednesday night, has been arrested by police.
Pramod was reportedly drunk when he took his ailing mother and pushed her into the river.
Police and SDRF divers are yet to recover the woman who is believed to have been drowned.
