Guwahati: Amid Coronavirus fear, the Assam government has ordered the closure of all the Night Clubs, Bars, Pubs, Museums, libraries, coaching centres, unisex salons in the state from today to March 31. Wine shops, however, will remain open.
Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted from his official Twittter handle that the Assam government would constantly monitor and review the evolving situation and would take necessary steps to protect and safeguard public health.
From today we are closing all museums, libraries, coaching centres, beauty parlours and barber shops till 31st March 2020.

The development came following after two circulars issued by the Excise department and the Home and Political department of the State.
All the places where there is a chance of mass gathering will remain close till 31st March, 2020 with immediate effect and until further orders.
