NF Railway is taking special measures to clear extra rush of passengers by extending the periodicity of two special trains
GUWAHATI, March 29: NF Railway has decided to extend the periodicity and services of two pairs of special trains — the Silchar-Naharlagun-Silchar and Agartala-Guwahati-Agartala — both for 26 trips each in both directions with a view to clearing extra rush of passengers.
These trains will operate with the existing schedule of service, timings, composition and stoppages, NF Railway CPRO Kapinjal Kishore Sharma stated.
Train No. 05638 running between Silchar and Naharlagun weekly will depart from Silchar at 1:10 pm every Monday from April 7, 2025 to September 29, 2025 to reach Naharlagun at 8:40 am the next day.
Similarly, train no. 05637 running between Naharlagun and Silchar weekly will depart from Naharlagun at 10:00 am every Tuesday from April 8, 2025 to September 30, 2025, to reach Silchar at 5:20 am the next day.
On the other hand, Train no. 05628 running between Agartala and Guwahati weekly will depart Agartala at 7:00 pm every Thursday from April 3, 2025 to September 25, 2025, to reach Guwahati at 8:45 am the next day.
Similarly, train no. 05627 between Guwahati and Agartala weekly will depart Guwahati at 1:15 pm every Friday from April 4, 2025 to September 26, 2025, to reach Agartala at 4:10 am the next day.
