GUWAHATI: The newly constructed T-wing at the Bishnu Rabha Flyover in Ganeshguri will be inaugurated on Thursday informed Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Dr. Sarma on Saturday stated that the newly-constructed extension of Ganeshguri flyover, connecting the Zoo road(R G Baruah road) with GS Road(Srimanta Sankardev Path) will be inaugurated on October 22.
Once inaugurated, traffic congestion in Ganeshguri is expected to be reduced to a large extent. The total length of the flyover wing is 398.5 metres and the carriageway (width) of the flyover is 27 metres. The flyover has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 58.47 crore.
It is to be mentioned that Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal laid the foundation stone of the flyover on March 6, 2019.
