New Education SOP: Schedule for classes 1 to 8 from 19 October

GUWAHATI: The Assam Education Department through a new SOP has announced that regular classes for 9th standard will be started from 1 October. All classes for Degree courses and PG will also resume from 1 October.

After the Durga Puja festivities fresh classes for 11th Standard will start from 19 October.

From 19 October, regular classes will start from standard 1 to standard 8.

The classes will be three days a week for 1st to 8th standard.

For standard 1, 2 and 3 the classes will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

For standard 4 and 5 classes will be held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Classes for 6th standard will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Classes for 7^th standard will be held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Classes for 8^th standard will be held on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
