GUWAHATI, Feb: President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jadgeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed grief over the loss of life in the tragic stampede incident that took place at the New Delhi Railway Station last night.
“Deeply anguished to know about the loss of lives in a stampede at New Delhi Railway station. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and pray for speedy recovery of those injured,” the Rashtrapati Bhavan wrote on ‘X’.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condoled the loss of life in the stampede at the New Delhi Railway Station and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
“Distressed by the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. My thoughts are with all those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured have a speedy recovery. The authorities are assisting all those who have been affected by this stampede,” he wrote on ‘X’.
Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar also expressed his condolences at the loss of life in the stampede and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
“Deeply pained by the loss of lives at New Delhi Railway Station.
I express my sincere condolences for this tragic loss as I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured,” Vice-President Dhankhar wrote.
Several other politicians also expressed grief over the unfortunate incident.
