GUWAHATI, Jan 20: India Javelin star Neeraj Chopra announced about his marriage on Sunday with the two-time Olympic medallist taking to ‘X’, formerly Twitter, to announce about his marriage.
“Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after,” Neeraj said in the post.
The marriage was solemnised in an intimate ceremony which was also confirmed by his uncle Bhim, according to a report by news agency PTI.
“Yes, the marriage took place in India two days back. I can’t tell the place where it took place,” Bhim told PTI from his village at Khandra near Panipat, Haryana.
Regarding his better half Himani, reports said she is a tennis player hailing from Larsauli in Haryana and studied at Little Angels School, Sonipat.
After pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Physical Science at Delhi University’s Miranda House, Himani moved to the US where she is presently pursuing her Masters in Science in sports management and administration from McCormack Isenberg School of Management, News 18 reported.
