GUWAHATI: National Democratic Front of Bodoland (S) signed a tripartite Suspension of Operations (SoO) Agreement with the centre and state government on Thursday.
The outfit under the leadership of its president B Saoraigwra decided to shun violence, come overground and join the peace process.
The agreement was signed by Assam commissioner and secretary of home and political department Ashutosh Agnihotri, joint secretary (Northeast) of ministry of home affairs Satyendra Garg and NDFB(S) president B. B Saoraigwra.
Meanwhile, the centre has decided to suspend all military operations against the outfit.
