GUWAHATI, Oct 17: Nayab Singh Saini today took oath as Haryana Chief Minister for the second time after the BJP, in the results declared on Oct 8, swept to power in the State for the record third straight term.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at Panchkula’s Parade Ground near Chandigarh and was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, other top BJP leaders along with Chief Ministers of 18 National Democratic Alliance (NDA)-ruled States.
Saini was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya.
Apart from Saini, thirteen BJP MLAs also took oath as ministers.
