Guwahati: There is some good news for ‘RRR’ fans! SS Rajamouli’s film has made it to the shortlist for Oscars 2023. The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the film has been shortlisted in the Best Song category.
It is now among the 15 songs that have been selected out of a total of 81. Apart from ‘Natu Natu’, the list includes songs from Avatar: The Way of Water, ‘Lift Me Up’ from Blank Panther: Wakanda Forever and ‘Hold My Hand’ from Top Gun: Maverick.
RRR is based on the life of two revolutionaries Alluri Sitaram Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Junior NTR). Apart from Ram Charan and Jr NTR, the film also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris in pivotal roles.
