GUWAHATI, Jan 22: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan met Bhajan Singh Rana, the auto driver who rushed him to Lilavati Hospital after he was stabbed at his Bandra home last week.
Report stated that the actor met Rana at the hospital on Tuesday and thanked him for bringing him to the hospital.
Saif met Rana before he was discharged from hospital yesterday (Jan 21).
Pictures doing the rounds on social media showed the actor and the auto driver standing together at the hospital with reports stating that other members of the family, including Saif’s mother Sharmila Tagore, also thanked him for his help in getting the injured actor admitted to hospital.
One person, a Bangladeshi national named Mohammed Shariful Islam Shahzad (30), was arrested on charges of attacking Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra home early Friday morning.
Reports said he entered India through the Dawki border in Meghalaya seven months ago before proceeding to Bengal and then travelling to Mumbai.
