In a sensational incident in Lanketapu Chapari in Tezpur, miscreants allegedly burned down houses of several local people. According to reports, some land-mafias have been trying hard to establish doubtful citizen in the area since long. They have also threatened the locals of the area by showing weapons.
The group of miscreants on Saturday burned the house of one identified as Shah Alam and robbed it too. According to source, the group was led by one land-mafia Abdul Salam.
