GUWAHATI: Morris Garages(MG Motor) has just tested the Hyundai Creta rival, MG Astor, in India. Pictures of the camouflaged test mule of the car have been spied testing on Indian road, revealing its key design details.
Even though MG Motor India has not disclosed any details of the launch of the car, but sources said that the new SUV is all set for its launch in the third quarter of 2021.
The MG Astor is likely to be offered in two variants, a 1.5-liter naturally aspired petrol engine and a 1.3-liter turbo petrol engine.
The spy images reveal that the car might offer a panoramic sunroof on the MG Astor. The test car is also equipped with dual-tone alloy wheels and red brake calipers at the front.
It is also rumored that the MG Astor is inspired by the MGZS- a subcompact crossover SUV produced by the Chinese manufacturer SAIC Motor under the MG marque.
